• Only schools can register and send their students for this workshop. Individual students who are interested have to approach through their respective schools.
• Each school can send a maximum of 30 students (in one batch) to attend the workshop.
• Medium of instruction will be English.
• This workshop will be open to students in the 8th and 9th standards.

• Each batch of students from a school should be accompanied by a teacher/school representative for the entire duration of the workshop (each workshop will last for more than 4 hours - please plan accordingly). Students won't be allowed to enter into NCL premises if they are not accompanied by a teacher from their school.
• Schools should arrange for transportation (school buses/vans etc.) for the students to reach NCL on the day of the workshop, transport the students from NCL to NCL Innovation Park and arrange to be picked up from NCL Innovation Park, after the conclusion of the workshop.

• Schools should make sure to collect the filled-in "Declaration Form" (form attached) from each and every student who wishes to participate in the workshop, and make sure it reaches us (all correspondences, and forms should be sent to this email address: iyc.outreach@ncl.res.in) two weeks before the date of the workshop. Students won't be allowed to participate in the workshop without submitting the Declaration Form.
• A list of all the students (not exceeding 30) attending the workshop you're your school should reach us by email (to iyc.outreach@ncl.res.in) two weeks before the scheduled workshop.
• If for any reason, schools won't be able to send students, or if some students cannot attend the workshop in the pre-decided time slots, we should be intimated about this at least two weeks in advance. Please realize that this is a valuable opportunity for students and if you are not utilizing it, at least others who are in the waiting list can get the chance to participate.
• Kindly call and confirm your school's participation one day before the scheduled workshop.
• The workshop slots are limited. If we can't accommodate your request immediately, we'll put your school on the waiting list and inform you as soon as there is a slot available.
• Students can carry water bottles with them. We'll provide them with light snacks during the workshop. All students must be wearing shoes to attend the workshop.

(To be signed by the Principal or School Representative) I hereby declare that I have read and understood all the Rules and Regulations listed in this document for sending students from our school to attend the NCL-IISER-ESG Chemistry Workshops for International Year of Chemistry (IYC) 2011. The school administration will make all efforts to comply with the rules and regulations and in the event of cancellation of participation of students or change of schedule will inform the workshop coordinator two weeks in advance.
