Five - Day Introductory Workshop on Having fun with "Scratch Programming & Sensor Boards"

Dear Students, Parents and Teachers:
The Exciting science Group (www.excitingscience.org)will be running a workshop to introduce Scratch, a graphical programming language, for students between the ages of 8 to 10 years.
What is Scratch?
Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) is a graphical programming language developed by the MIT Media Lab (www.media.mit.edu) to create animation, games, and much more. It is designed as a first introduction to structured logic and programming, and allows children to develop their creativity. The Scratch platform is downloadable for free from their site.
Aim of the Workshop: To introduce the scratch interface, and introduce logical and structured programming flows.
At the end of the workshop, children should be able to develop their own animation, games and graphic stories.

Registration: Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Thanks to the sponsorship from the Forbes Marshall Foundation, the Praj Foundation, the Nag Foundation and Persistent Foundation, this workshop will be run free of cost. However, a refundable deposit of Rs. 500 needs to be paid at the time of registration for confirmation.
We will run one batch of workshop for 31 students.
AGE Group: Between 8 To 10 years old

Time :10 am to 12:30 pm each day
